A little about our company:
After many years of Plumbing, Septic Installation, and Excavating, Pumping and Sewer & Drain Cleaning grew into the business, with Portable Restrooms to come later in the early 1990’s. We now service most of South Central WI including Madison. 

The Country Plumber Inc was started in 1963 by the founders David & Joan Lichtfeld.  After many years of plumbing in the Illinois and Madison areas, David moved his business to the Montello area.  After working out of his rural farm north of Montello for many years, he decided to expand to the Portage area in the early 1980’s, opening a shop one mile south of Portage on County Hwy 51 & P. After running the business for over 38 years, Dave retired and now enjoys collecting old cars and trucks.  He takes his 1921 Daniels Submarine Speedster too many car shows across the country.  When he is not at car show he runs his two mobile home parks.
